What is 7for2007?
Welcome to 7for2007.com, the site for the first, the biggest, and for many of us, hopefully the last set of endurance challenges we'll ever attempt.
The plan was complete a set of seven events in Europe throughout 2007, raising piles of cash for cancer charities along the way, took shape in the summer of 2006.
The premise is this: We've picked seven events to complete throughout the year. They included the London marathon and triathlon, a cycle ride to Paris, a 90 mile canoe race and even a world record attempt.
The five of us who put the project together have competed in all of the challenges with over a 100 people joining us in organising and taking part in specific events along the way.
The aim of all this is to raise £100,000 for five cancer charities: Children with Leukaemia, The Institute of Cancer Research, The Orchid Appeal, The Anthony Nolan Trust and The Prostate Cancer Charity, and that's where you come in.
